4x400m Sea Swim Relay

Where:  Governor’s Beach
Time:  Race starts at 4:00 pm.
(Check-in and body marking is at Governor’s Beach from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm)
Race Briefing:  3:50pm.
Cut-off Time:  1 Hour 20 Minutes from Race Start
Course:  Start/Finish at Governor’s Beach
Race Caps:  To be provided at Check-in

Awards:  Trophies or medals for 1st, 2nd,3rd- Female, Male, Mixed teams.
Age Group:  It will be determined by the oldest member in your team.

If weather conditions threaten the safety of the swimmers or organisers, the race may be cancelled at the discretion of the Race Director.

Rules clarifications:
● Teams can be male, female or a mix of male and female.
● Swimmers can swim up an age group.
● The age group selected must reflect the age of the oldest swimmer in the group.
● 1st Leg swimmers will wear WHITE cap. 2nd leg will wear GREEN, 3rd leg will wear RED and 4th will wear BLUE.
● The race will start and finish in the water.
● The swimmer change overs (1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th) will be on the beach, with the handover swimmer exiting the water to tag the next leg swimmer
