The Deputy Governor’s 5K Challenge is back in 2022 after a two year hiatus due to the pandemic.

With a focus on Helping Today – Protecting Tomorrow, the beneficiaries for the 2022 event are: Cayman Islands Cancer Society (CICS), MS Foundation of the Cayman Islands as well as the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association of the Cayman Islands (ADACI).

Fundraising from this year’s DG’s 5K Challenge will contribute to reducing instances of cancer and provide meaningful care and support for those who suffer from serious and debilitating diseases like Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Together, we really can help today and protect tomorrow!

Event Date: Sunday April 10th 2022 – *EVENT RESCHEDULED TO SUNDAY MAY 1^st 2022*

Event Time and Course Route: Start time is 6:30am and will be at the Hungry Iguana Restaurant.

1. Start at the Hungry Iguana Restaurant
2. Turnaround point by the airport’s windsock
3. Proceed and turnaround at the Southern Cross Club
4. Proceed back to the Iggy

The ‘water-stops’ will be at: (1) Seahorse Boutique, (2) LC Museum, (3) near the Southern Cross Club.

Event Cost:
Adults 18 and over $25.00 KYD
Children 17 and under $10.00 KYD

WAIVER
I, the participant, or legal guardian if the participant is under 18, assume all risks associated with running / walking this event. I waive and release the Cayman Islands Government and all sponsors from all claims or liabilities of any kind.
