SUMMARY:EnviroWalk 5k Run-Walk 2024
DESCRIPTION:Envirowalk Cayman is a 5k walk/run that aims to bring awareness to environmental issues. \nEnvirowalk Cayman started in 2019 with a goal of inspiring the public to make environmental choices and providing “tips” along the route that encourages sustainability. Each year\, participants at Envirowalk select their favorite local environmental organization and the winning organization is given a donation from the proceeds of Envirowalk. In 2019 we donated to Plastic Free Cayman\, in 2021 to Protect our Future and in 2022 to Mangrove Rangers. We look forward to awarding another local organization doing environmental work for Cayman\, at this year’s event. \n6am        registration \n6:20am   F45 warm up \n6:30am   start \nEnvirowalk Cayman is a fundraiser organized by Girl Power Cayman\, Miss World Cayman and Miss Supranational Cayman. \nGirl Power Cayman is a free training and mentoring program for females between the ages of 15-27. It mission is to inspire\, nuture and empower young ladies with lifelong skills in this challenging society. \nFor more information on what we do\, to volunteer or to make a donation to Envirowalk or Girl Power\, please contact 926.0700 or email envirowalkcayman@gmail.com \nIn lieu of adding more waste by offering t-shirts\, we are asking participants to wear a green shirt or a previous year’s Envirowalk shirt and please bring a water bottle! \nThank you for your support!
